Overview: Established in Jan 29, 1999 with an aim to develop local society and promote culture in accordance with Article 4 of the Local Culture Center Act, Gangdong Culture Center is a nonprofit corporation based solely on private funding. It hosts and conducts a variety of cultural events, exhibitions, and cultural lectures for residents.
Overview: Gangdong-gu Community Center is composed of a grand hall with 600 seats that can hold plays, concerts, and other cultural events, a life and culture college boasting of clean air and a serene atmosphere, available to all of residents, and a cultural shelter through which local residents can satisfy their cultural cravings.
Overview: Renovated from the existing Amsa Youth Study Center in 2014, Gangdong Youth Nuri Place is a small-scale leisure space for teenagers. It runs a number of educational and cultural projects and also operates ‘Hapum School' for those who do not attend school. It also provides various cultural programs for its residents.
Overview: Established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and run by the Korea Youth Association, the Municipal Gangdong Youth Training Center is a cultural place for teenagers; by providing them with abundant information and allowing them to experience various activities, it tries to help our young students grow as upright citizens having grander dreams and a broader world in their minds.
