Subject "Sharing Farm," a unique garden in Gangdong-gu where you can make friends and enjoy gardens.

The time has come to share the cost of delivering chicken. As the number of houses that collectively pay for the soaring delivery costs with their neighbors increases, the concept of neighboring cousins is reviving.

Recently, as the custom of efficient spending and placing importance on practicality through sharing has emerged, 'sharing' has become a trend, joining hands with neighbors online or offline.

Gong Yoo Farm, which has already been newly operated by Gangdong-gu District Office (Mayor Lee Jung-hoon) since last year, is a system that shares gardens with neighbors in line with this trend of the times.

It is not a common garden. The garden, modeled after a European garden garden (Clygarten), has a dedicated coffee bean membrane and an outdoor table in a separate space of 80 square meters, and you can enjoy healing and relaxation in a small garden.

It is located near the city center, so you can enjoy nature without going far, and you can feel like camping outdoors along the Han River. You don't have to find a neighbor to be with. It automatically matches three families of applicants by simply applying.

Nine families who were selected last year and used three shared farms are very satisfied with the operation of the new garden by becoming new neighbors and communicating frequently with matched families and having fun in the garden.

Applications can only be accepted online on the Gangdong-gu Urban Agricultural Portal website for three days from the 28th, and participants will be selected through electronic lottery on April 1. A total of 18 families will be selected, and three families will be automatically matched to receive one shared farm. The participation fee is 100,000 won per family.

If it was burdensome to use the existing garden-type garden alone due to its large area of 300,000 won, the "shared farm" is used with neighbors, saving money, and using a dedicated beanstalk, killing two birds with one stone.

With the prolonged COVID-19, the popularity of garden gardens is soaring day by day, said Mayor Lee Jung-hoon. "I hope you enjoy nature outdoors with your family and welcome a hopeful spring."

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo Farm is located in Gangil Garden (33-3 Gangil-dong) along with the existing garden-type garden. For more information, contact the Urban Agriculture Division of Gangdong-gu Office (☎02-3425-6553) or visit the Gangdong-gu Urban Agriculture Portal website.
