Subject Seoul Water Park to Overcome the Long Heat

As the heat wave is expected to continue until the end of this month, people are expected to look for cool water park in Seoul. "Seoul in My Hand" operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government introduced water parks in Seoul on August 15th.

Nowon-gu runs the Jungnangcheon Water Park in front of the Nokcheon Bridge, near the station on line 7. The fee is 2,000 won to 4,000 won, and people can visit the water park until 19th.

Jungnang-gu will open a mobile water theme park in 6 places including Jungnangcheon, Shinnaegeunlin Park, Bongsu Grand Park, elementary schools, and so on. Jungnangcheon Stream Water Playground, located at the end of Jangan Bridge in Jungnangcheon Stream, is open until 9 p.m. and is convenient because it has well-equipped facilities. The fee is 2,000 won to 4,000 won, and those under the age of three are free. It is close to Sagajeong Station.

Dorimcheon Stream in Gwanak-gu has opened a free water theme park for children under 9. It runs until the 26th. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes on foot from Exit 4 of Sillim Station.

Six swimming pools and water slide facilities will be open at the Anyang Eco Park in Yangcheon-gu until 19th. It is located in the square next to the picnic area under Shinjeong bridge.

Another free water theme park on the outskirts of Anyang is Pongdang-pongdang Children's Water Playground in Geumcheon-gu. It runs until the 26th. Children's areas and school zones are divided and nearby parking lots are opened for free on weekends. Location is under the Geumcheon Bridge. It's ten minutes' walk from Doksan Station.

Songpa-gu's Seongnaecheon Water Playground, where 200,000 people visit every year, will run until 31st. You can use it for free. The depth of the water is about 30 to 80 centimeters, so it is perfect for young children. There are shower rooms and changing rooms. The nearest station is Gaerong Station on line 5.

Under the natural learning center of Gwanak Mountain, a children's water playing field in Gwanak Mountain Valley was opened. It is a shallow valley that allows children to play and family to rest together. It runs until the 19th.

The Seoul Forest will run the floor fountain for 30 minutes from noon to 4 p.m. from July to August. The mirror fountain (floor fountain) of Nanji Han River Park will be open from July to August at noon and at 2/4/8/9 p.m. for 20 minutes. There is also a floor fountain at the constellation plaza and the Peace Park in World Cup Park.

People of Gangdong-gu can visit diverse water parks to solve the intense heat.
