Gangdong-gu Office Operates Free Legal Consultation Service for Construction Law

- The consultation center is open on weekdays from 2–4 PM and will operate until the end of December through talent donations from the architectural society

- Consultation on construction-related laws and administrative procedures through one-on-one matching with experts

Gangdong-gu Office (Head: Lee Soo-hee) announced that it will provide a "free architecture consultation service" until the end of December.

The "free legal consultation center for architecture" has been in operation since 2007, providing free consultations to residents by matching them with local architects with expertise. 

The program helps residents understand complex building permit procedures and other complicated construction-related issues such as building construction and remodeling.

Gangdong-gu has appointed 20 architects recommended by the Gangdong-gu architect society as "Gangdong-gu Legal Consultants for Free Consultation on Architecture" to operate the consultation center for free as a part of its talent donation initiatives. The consultation center is located on the first floor (Construction Division) of the Seongan Annex Building of the Gangdong-gu Office, and is open to anyone without reservation from 2 PM to 4 PM on weekdays.

"We feel grateful to those who have donated their talent to operate the free legal consultation center for architecture," said the head of the Construction Division, Yoo Yeong-seob. 

"We will continue to do our best to establish policies that help resolve architecture disputes and improve the convenience of local residents.”
