Bodyfriend announced on the 31st that it has delivered goods for the underprivileged and vulnerable to the Seoul Regional Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and Gangdong-gu Office in Seoul. At the ceremony, the two companies donated 150 boxes of happiness sharing boxes (worth 5 million won). The Happiness Sharing Box is a daily necessities box prepared by both companies with a certain amount of money. This sponsored item, which consists of agricultural and livestock products and food, will be delivered to the underprivileged and vulnerable through Gangdong-gu Office. The delivery ceremony is the eighth event organized by Bodyfriend and the Seoul Regional Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation after signing the MOU. Previously, sponsored items were delivered to Yeongdeungpo-gu Office, Songpa-gu Office, Gwanak-gu Office, Jungnang-gu Office, St. Mary's Child Welfare Center, and Umyeon General Social Welfare Center. In May last year, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, delivered two massage chairs and 50 boxes of happiness sharing boxes to senior citizen centers and welfare centers in Gangdong-gu, including the Sangil-dong District Senior Citizens' Center and the Seonghojeong Senior Welfare Center. The two companies signed an agreement in March last year to expand financial services to business institutions and employees to revitalize the local economy, such as expanding the market for agricultural and livestock products linked to urban residents and farmers (or organizations). Park Sang-hyun, CEO of Bodyfriend, said, "We hope that the sponsored goods prepared by the two companies will be a great help to marginalized neighbors," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities and make efforts to create a healthy society with various social contributions." |
