Subject Farmix Garden is reborn as Gangdong-gu's representative healing space after renovation

‘Farmix Garden’, a representative nature-friendly urban agricultural complex in Gangdong-gu, is coming with a new look.

At the Farmix Garden completion ceremony held on the 31st of last month, nearby residents and members of the Urban Agricultural Network who visited to see the newly refurbished appearance showed great anticipation as they looked around the Farmix Garden.

Starting with the welcome gate that greets residents with a bright appearance at the entrance to Farmix Garden (Sangil-dong 145-6), various themed gardens such as the Hosta Garden and Cypress Forest, which you will encounter as you walk along the small promenade, are a sight to behold. It also drew more attention by setting up shelters for residents to relax and relax with, such as sunbeds.

In particular, on this day, guests from all walks of life attended the tape-cutting ceremony and commemorative planting ceremony to commemorate the completion of the construction, and took a walk through the newly reborn Farmix Garden together with the residents.

Farmix Garden, located between large-scale apartment complexes, will realize the value of urban agriculture centered on people and the community through education and experience programs related to urban agriculture, community gardening, and night opening operations. The space is expected to become a natural resting place for residents.

Gangdong-gu mayor mayor Lee Jung hun said, “We expect Farmix Garden to emerge as a representative urban agricultural and cultural space in Gangdong-gu through this facility improvement project. “We will focus on promoting policies that allow everyone to be happy together with nature,” he said.

Farmix Garden is open from 9 am to 6 pm every Monday to Saturday, and from mid-April when the days warm up, it is also open at night, so it would be good to walk along the night lights that illuminate the dark trail.
