Subject Gangdong-gu's leap to the centre of bicycle transportation of the nation.

Gangdong-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, is now becoming the very centre of bicycle transportation all over the nation.

Gangdong-gu (mayor Lee Jung hun) announced on the 17th of December that Gangdong-gu has created a bicycle themed "Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street" starting from Cheonho-dong Park Intersection to Zmen Interchange on the way towards the Han river park, one of the most popular parks in Seoul.

Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street was named in the year 2016 as an honourary title.

Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street is a perfect way to go to the Han river park, and bicycle related stores have begun to form their own commercial districts starting a few years ago, and specialized business streets visited by people from all over the country have been formed constantly.

Accordingly, Gangdong-gu has created a unique bicycle themed landscape to strengthen the brand of Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street and to further revitalize the street by enhancing the awareness and symbolism of the Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street.

At the entrance to the Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street and the entrance to the interchange, symbolic information signs of the Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street have been installed, and brand signatures and photo zones have been provided, and bicycle stands for visitors have been provided in the stores within the street.

In addition to the Cheonho Bicycle Theme Street, Gangdong-gu is pushing for various policies, including creating light streets in major alley commercial areas to support small business owners suffering from COVID-19, said mayor Lee Jung hun, head of Gangdong-gu Office.
