Gangdong-gu, go to the youth labor site and prepare for workers' cultural welfare
: Support for not being treated unfairly in the youth labor field and even run a cultural experience program with family members

[Gangdong-gu, improving the system to protect and promote youth labor rights]
Gangdong-gu has partially revised the Enforcement Rules of the Gangdong-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government Ordinance on the Protection and Promotion of Youth Labor Rights. The main revision is to strengthen the criteria for selecting "Youth Labor Human Rights Friendly Workplaces" to protect and promote youth labor rights and expand the contents and duration of support.
The "Youth Labor Human Rights Friendly Workplace" is a workplace where teenagers can work with confidence and has been finally selected after a second on-site investigation if they meet the five certification criteria: ▲ writing a labor contract ▲ paying a minimum wage ▲ guaranteeing weekly treatment ▲ recommending youth part-time workers.
However, with the revision of the enforcement rules, "compliance with rest hours" and "compliance with labor-related laws" have been added to further strengthen the selection criteria. If selected as a youth labor rights-friendly workplace, the amount of utility bills and pay-as-you-go bags will be 300,000 won per year, and re-certification workplaces can also be supported for up to two years through re-deliberation by the public-private consultative body. More details can be found on the Gangdong-gu Office Labor Rights Center website.

[2021 Workers' Culture Dream "Take out the dalgona stars!"]
Gangdong-gu will host a family-accompanied cultural experience program for our residents who work. It will be a time for families to sympathize with the current situation and look back on the labor rights of all of us through the experience of Dalgona, take out the stars!, which will be a time to sympathize with each other in popular dramas and the play culture of Generation Z. Anyone working in Gangdong-gu and workers at workplaces in the jurisdiction can participate, and you can check the website of the Gangdong-gu Labor Rights Center and apply.
