Subject Finding famous spots in Gangdong through temporary fences at construction sites.

Gangdong-gu is presenting the 19th line of "DKDK Gangdong," which promotes the new attractions of Gangdong through the temporary fence of a desolate construction site, and the "DKDK Gallery," decorated with works by young artists.

In January this year, the district completed the production of a design manual to be applied to the construction site's temporary fence to improve the street aesthetics.

The temporary fence design manual was produced with a total of four concepts: "Pit-a-pat Gangdong 19 Lines," "Safety Message," "Pit-a-pat Gallery," and "Environmental Message," and is actively recommended to apply the design manual to all construction site temporary fences in the jurisdiction.

First of all, the "DKDK Gangdong 19th Line," which promotes the new attractions in Gangdong-gu, designed 19 maps and pictograms of Gangdong-gu, such as "Street I Want to Walk to Gucheon-myeon" and "Gangpool Cartoon Street," so that you can learn about the attractions at a glance.

The concept is to develop a "Bitsal" pictogram system containing Gangdong-gu's identity and introduce attractions in Gangdong-gu.

The message for the safety of the construction site was made in the form of cartoons to induce the attention of residents.

In addition, the Pit-a-pat Gallery presents works by young artists such as "Thinking and Serving," "Cooking Ramen on the Head of a Fever Professor," "Let's Enjoy Going to Work on Monday," "I Don't Want to Wake Up Monday Morning" and "I Want a Drink of Chicken." Im Sang-ju, author of Illustrated, who participated in the gallery project, said, "We expressed the heavy and hard construction site cover with topics that anyone can sympathize with to decorate it as a gallery space that can comfort residents."

Gangdong-gu Mayor Lee Jung-hoon said, "We are improving the city's aesthetics by applying various designs to temporary fences that protect the safety of construction sites," adding, "We will use it as a communication channel with residents by improving the city's aesthetics as well as providing information."
