Subject Gangdong-gu Resumes The "The Dream" Project.

- Gangdong The Dream... The project resumed on October 22nd and expanded to four buildings.
- It contributes to saving resources and protecting the environment by properly discharging and collecting recyclables.

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jung hun) announced that it will resume and expand the "Gangdong The Dream" project, which was temporarily suspended due to the increase in COVID-19 confirmed cases, from the 22nd (Friday).

Gangdong The Dream is a project in which residents directly participate in recycling resources and share the value of the virtuous cycle of resources with the local community, and compensates for the active participation of residents.

Residents participating in "Gangdong The Dream" can accumulate points by installing an eco 2gather application on their mobile phones, and the accumulated points can be refunded to their accounts or gift certificates.

Earlier, the district plans to expand the Gangdong The Dream project, which was piloted by the Seongnae Social Welfare Center in Seongnae 2-dong, to three additional community centers in ▲ Gildong Community Center ▲ Cheonho 1-dong every Friday from 13 to 16:00.

The collection items are transparent PET bottles, plastic, aluminum cans, iron cans, and if the contents are emptied by discharge method, rinsed, labels are removed, and brought clean for 100% recycling, transparent bottled water bottles can be compensated for ▲ 70-100 won ▲ iron cans.

Mayor Lee Jung hun said, "I would like to thank those who have worked hard to resume the Gangdong The Dream project in a difficult situation due to the prolonged COVID-19," adding, "We will continue to do our best to take the lead in building a virtuous cycle of resources through proper emissions and collection of recyclables."
