The 4th Youth Online Democracy Festival, recently held by Gangdong-gu, Seoul, ended successfully.

The Gangdong-gu Youth Democracy Festival, which started for the first time in the country in 2018 and marks its fourth anniversary this year, was held online with the slogan "Welcome, let's go together!" with a message of hope for teenagers who are heavily restricted from prolonged Corona activities.

Various youth performances and experience programs were organized online, along with the promotion of the 6th Youth Council, and the Gangdong-gu Office's Open Garden also exhibited illustrations, declarations of children's rights, and pledges for the 6th Youth Council.

Starting with a celebratory performance by the Youth Dance Club from 1 p.m. on the 16th, a variety of online programs, including magic performances, youth council performance presentations, acrostic poems, youth talk concerts, and quiz shows, were broadcast live on YouTube of Gangdong-gu Office.

In addition, the "My Hand-made Card Wallet" and "My Own Human Rights Sensitivity Lighting" career experience and real-time prize events were held with the youth Angel Workshop, adding to the fun of the one-day festival, and the finale ended with performances by high school rapper Lee Young-ji and Fireart's large mask performance.

In particular, the festival sent real-time video clips of candidates' pledges to promote their participation in the 6th Youth Council election vote, which will be held by embossing the Seoul Metropolitan Government until the 22nd, and anyone aged 9 to 18 can participate in the vote. Twenty-five of the 32 candidates will be elected through this vote, and the results of the vote will be announced on October 25.
