Subject Gangdong-gu operates a toy library

Gangdong-gu, Seoul, announced on the 12th that it will start a "toy library with wheels" project that ships and rents toys home.
The "Wheel Toy Library," a customized project for COVID-19, is a project that rents large toys, various childcare supplies, and Baekilsang and Dolsang supplies to home.
Gangdong-gu explained that the number of people who wish to use "Child and Mom Gangdong," a complex community facility for infants and toddlers, is increasing, but many residents complained of regret due to the lack of opportunities to use it as the number of users is limited to COVID-19. To solve this problem, the government will operate a "wheeled toy library" so that more residents can enjoy the benefits.
The "Toy Library with Wheels" is available free of charge to anyone who is a member of the toy library of "Child and Mom Gangdong." The rental period is 14 nights and 15 days, and it is available twice a month on the Gangdong Children's Center website through pre-booking applications. Delivery is divided into a total of five areas from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Monday to Friday.
Children and Mom Gangdong is divided into toy libraries that rent toys and childcare supplies, open playgrounds for parents and children to play together, and children's integrated development play program space for infants and toddlers.
Gangdong-gu Mayor Lee Jung-hun said, "We plan to open the Amsa Market branch of Gangdong's 8th child-mother Gangdong, a representative care infrastructure facility in Gangdong-gu in November this year," adding, "We will systematically promote childbirth, parenting, and family-friendly policies to establish itself as Gangdong-gu, where infants and families are happy."
