Subject Gangdong-gu, Seoul, an exhibition of artworks poured out by the disabled

An exhibition of works containing the soul of disabled people in Gangdong-gu, who are living firmly without losing courage in Gangdong-gu, is being held.

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jung hun) announced on the 6th that it is promoting the art exhibition "Drawing Me, Moments of Infinity" at the Gangdong Art Center Art Gallery "Painting" until the 23rd.

The exhibition displays more than 60 works of art, including watercolors, calligraphy, and crafts, in which users of welfare facilities for the disabled and students from special schools participated.

There is also a VR experience zone where visitors can experience visual and physical disabilities to improve awareness of the disabled, and it is available free of charge from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mayor Lee Jung hun, head of Gangdong-gu District Office, said, "I hope this exhibition will break our prejudice against disability and deliver a warm message to a happy world," adding, "We will continue to create a venue for opportunities to discover the artistic talents of the disabled and improve awareness of disability."

Meanwhile, this exhibition, which stands out for infinite possibilities beyond the barrier of disability, is the second exhibition following the lively Gangdong in communication with the world held in April to commemorate the 41st Disabled Day.

This seems to have provided an opportunity for Gangdong-gu to pursue an equal society that has provided equal opportunities for the disabled, and we look forward to Gangdong-gu taking the lead in abolishing discrimination against the disabled.
