[Lifelong Learning Exhibition - Love of Learning]
Gangdong-gu will hold an exhibition of lifelong learning works on the 2021 On & Off Gangdong Education Week, which runs from October 11th to 17th.
This year's exhibition, designed to encourage residents to participate in lifelong learning and promote excellent learning cases to continue to raise interest in lifelong learning, will be operated under the subtitle Learning Love Infiltration. You can see about 250 colorful works, including 20 winners of the Adult Literature Education Poetry Exhibition, daily crafts using Mark Rame, French Embroidery, Hwagwaja, Hanji, paintings such as watercolors and acrylic paintings, and traditional paintings such as folk paintings.


[Lifelong Learning Center in the neighborhood]
Gangdong-gu will operate the Neighborhood Lifelong Learning Center from September 23 (Thursday) to December 17 (Friday) using idle spaces in local public facilities. In order to enhance access to lifelong learning in daily life and establish a short-range lifelong learning center, the district has designated the first and second stores of the Book Cafe Library "Dadokdadok" and the Amsa Urban Regeneration Center "Sangsangnaru" as the "Neighborhood Lifelong Learning Center." The Neighborhood Lifelong Learning Center offers a total of 19 lectures, including yoga, daily clothing, coffee, and total crafts, which are in high demand from residents, and operates mainly on small-scale lectures according to the space size of public facilities and COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.


[12th Gangdong Book Festival]
Gangdong-gu Library will hold the 12th Gangdong Book Festival from October 12th (Tue) to 16th (Sat). The festival will be held as an online and offline program under the theme of childhood innocence, which contains the meaning of children's hearts and empathy.
At the small theater of Gangdong Art Center, programs such as <Concern Counseling Center> and <Children's Postbox> are prepared, where singer Kim Chang-wan, the author and singer of (Rainbowed) Bangbangbang, talks about "living as a child," and solves problems through children's eyes.
