Gangdong-gu, Seoul, announced on the 8th that it has opened the 6th branch of "Child and Mom Gangdong-gu," a complex community facility for infants and toddlers in Gildong. The Child and Mom Gangdong-gu, 6th branch in Gildong was built with facilities such as a toy library, an open playground, and an Aizaramteo, which takes care of a child after school or kindergarten for a while, with a dedicated area of 264㎡. The Toy Library is a place where you can rent up to two toys and three books per session if you sign up for membership. The Child and Mom Gangdong-gu, 6th branch in Gildong differentiated itself by providing various toys such as Lego blocks, board games, and puzzles. An experience zone is also set up so that families who visit with their children can use it first before rental. The open playground is an aquarium-themed place, and huts and attic rooms have been built everywhere to reflect the characteristics of children's liking to hide in cozy spaces. Safety was emphasized with flooring materials equipped with embossed functions so that children can have fun running. The entire space of Aizaramteo, which takes care of a child after school or kindergarten, was decorated with blocks so that children could create anything and immerse themselves in their play. The target is pre-school infants living in Gangdong-gu and can be used when accompanied by parents and grandparents. Currently, the number of people per session is adjusted and operated because of the COVID-19 distance measure.
