Subject Additional recruitment for 'RFID payer installation'

Gangdong-gu District (mayor Lee Jung hun) has been recruiting additional sites for food waste RFID pay-as-you-go machines since the 17th. Food waste RFID payer calculates emissions by generation and calculates emission fees objectively compared to existing standard waste bags and complex emission (payment certificate), thereby increasing residents' sensitivity to food waste reduction and improving the garbage emission environment. If an application is desired, ▲ multi-family housing (30 households or more) can submit a copy of the resolution and minutes of the residents' representative meeting
▲ general housing (9 households or more) by mail to the Gangdong-gu Office Cleaning Administration Department. If finally selected, RFID standard equipment installation and maintenance costs excluding electricity and communication fees will be provided free of charge, and multi-family housing will be charged next month's management fee, and general housing will be charged with a pre-paid transportation card. For more information on the application, contact the cleaning administration department of Gangdong-gu Office (☎02-3425-5880) for guidance.
Meanwhile, since 2014, the district has implemented RFID standardizer installation support project for apartments and installed 721 standard meters in 99 places (41,431 households), resulting in about 30% reduction in food waste emissions. In particular, 45 RFID standard machines (638 households) were installed and operated in general houses as a pilot project to improve the food waste emission environment from 2019, and residents who participated in the pilot project were very satisfied. This year, a total of 100 food waste RFID payers are supported, and 50 people have been applied for the first half of last year.
