Subject Gangdong Art Center presents fantasy pansori drama with the history of the 'Sangilli Manse Movement'

Gangdong-Gu will present the historical fantasy pansori drama "Chosun 9th-class civil servant superhero, Kim Kyung-bae" and "Gangdong Humanities Concert with Historian Shim Yong-hwan" on the same stage for two days on the 14th and 15th at the Gangdong Art Center.

This Pansori drama is a modern sensibility adaptation of the history of the March 1st Independence Movement in Sangil-Ri (currently Sangil-dong) in 1919. It was written and directed by Choi Yong-Seok. No. 5 Important Intangible Cultural Property and former representative of Pansori Factory Floorsori, he is recognized as a singer and a playwright who warmly and delicately looks at the world and people.

After the performance, a humanities concert by historian Shim Yong-hwan, who is famous for appearing on various historical topics such as 'The Guys Who Crossed the Line', follows. It was prepared as a place where you can retrace and sympathize with the history of our independence movement by telling the story behind the March 1st Independence Movement, which is the main content of the performance, in an easy and fun way.

All seats are free of charge for this performance as a support project selected by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to commemorate the March 1st Movement.
