Subject Gangdong-gu District Strengthens Heat Wave Measures for Corona 19 Temporary Selection Inspection Center

Gangdong-gu District (District mayor Lee Jung hun) has prepared various preventive measures to prevent thermal accidents of medical staff and inspectors at the Corona 19 Temporary Selection Inspection Center in advance, and is making all-out efforts to prevent special prevention of Corona 19 in the heat wave.

Currently, the district operates a screening clinic at Gangdong-gu Health Center and two temporary screening laboratories at Amsa (Amsa History Park) and Godeok (on the street parking lot next to King Onjo Cultural Gymnasium). Among them, the Godeok Temporary Selection Inspection Center has been in operation since the 12th as part of special quarantine measures in the Seoul metropolitan area.

The district has set up separate rest areas for the safety and health of medical staff and field workers at temporary screening laboratories amid the heat wave, and has air conditioners, large fans, and ice vests to cool off the heat. In addition, sufficient rest time is guaranteed, such as forming a working group and taking measures to work in rotation for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

In addition, the temporary selection inspection center in Amsa Temple has additional shade tents for blocking sunlight and 100 ice packs and mass-production are installed to help residents solve the inconvenience caused by the heat wave, making it available to residents waiting.

In August, the Godeok Temporary Selection Inspection Center will introduce an order waiting system. If residents leave their mobile phone numbers on the test site's tablet PC, they can be guided by their cell phones in the waiting status and order, which is expected to help reduce inconvenience caused by long-term waiting. After the pilot operation, it will also be introduced to the temporary screening laboratory of Amsa Temple.

"We will not let go of the tension so that we can keep the residents safe from Corona 19," said Lee Jung hun, head of Gangdong-gu District Office. "As all employees of the district go all out to prevent coronavirus 19, we ask you to conduct diagnostic tests and thoroughly comply with quarantine rules such as wearing masks and distancing."

Meanwhile, the Amsa Temporary Selection Laboratory is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday (12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) and the Godeok Temporary Selection Laboratory is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays (5 p.m. to 5 p.m.).6 o'clock) It will be extended. There are differences in operating hours such as disinfection time and non-operating date for each laboratory, so it is necessary to check before visiting.
