Subject <Be, Connect, Forget>, an exhibition of artists

The hot summer has come to Gangdong. Why don't we enjoy the exhibition to relieve the heat? The Gangdong Cultural Foundation will hold an exhibition of artists selected by the 2021 exhibition support contest. The title of this art exhibition is <Exist, Connect, Forget>. The exhibition will be held for two weeks from Thursday, July 22, 2021 to Wednesday, August 4, 2021. The exhibition will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Gangdong Art Center and 1, 2, 3 spaces. It's closed every Monday. All ages can go to this exhibition and admission is free. The artists who participated in the exhibition are Kang Min-joo, Kim Dong-wook, Kim Soo-hyang, Kim Hyun-hee, Min Cheol-hong, Shin Young-sung, Shin Jung-won, Shim Jung-ah, Yang Ji-hee, Jang Ji-eun, Jung Kyung-mi, Jung Ye-rang, Choi Dae-wi, Ha Min-soo, Heo Eun-young, and Hwang Sun-young. Author Min Cheol-hong mentioned that art proposal is a group of artists who are interested in social issues and want to realize socially participating art. He also said that he has opened a forum to reflect deeply on our society that loses and distorts the dignity of life and life, ask questions through art, and draw sympathy. In this exhibition, he wants to convey a message about a modern society that loses its essence through artistic reflection on human, life, and memory. As it is a good opportunity to appreciate good works, I hope many people visit and enjoy this art exhibition, while keeping the coronavirus rules well and keeping the distance between people.
