Subject Additional recruitment for Gangdong Good Renter Support Project

Gangdong-gu District (mayor Lee Jung hun) is recruiting additional renters by August 31 (Tuesday) to participate in the "good renters" support project to support small business owners who voluntarily cut rents for small business owners suffering from coronavirus 19.

Among stores in Gangdong-gu with converted deposits of less than 900 million won (monthly rent x 100+ deposit), the applicant is a renter who signed a win-win agreement with the tenant stating the details of the rent reduction in 2021.

If selected as a "good renter," mobile Seoul Love Gift Certificates and quarantine supplies worth 300,000 won to up to 1 million won will be paid for each total rent reduction.

Even if a gift certificate was paid as a "good renter" in the first half of the year, if a renter who owns a number of commercial buildings additionally lowers rent, he or she can receive additional gift certificates based on the total amount of the reduction.

The application documents shall be submitted by visiting the Gu office or by registered mail by August 31 (Tuesday).

Meanwhile, the district has been steadily supporting renters who have cut rents since last year, and in the first half of this year, it has paid a total of 12.2 million won worth of mobile Seoul Love Gift Certificates to 29 renters who have cut rents by 120 million won.
Mayor Lee Jung hun, said, "We ask you to actively participate in the rent reduction campaign for small business owners, who have become more difficult, such as the fourth pandemic of distancing."
