Subject Gangdong-gu-Gangdong Transportation Co., Ltd., Home-Company 'WIN-WIN Project' Agreement Ceremony Completion

Gangdong-gu, Seoul (District mayor Lee Jung hun) announced on the 9th that it recently held an agreement ceremony with Gangdong Transportation Co., Ltd. for the "WIN-WIN (WIN-WIN) Project," a multi-child family-business.

In particular, the "WIN-WIN Project" is a project in which multi-child families and companies (organizations) form a partnership and sponsor child support expenses for families (organizations) on a yearly basis.

Those eligible for sponsorship are families with fourth or more children or low-income families with three or more children, and child support costs of 100,000 won per month, 1.2 million won per year, up to three years.

Under the agreement, Gangdong Transportation, which will participate in the project, will form a partnership with five multi-child families and start sponsorship in August this year, 2021.

Gangdong Transportation Co., Ltd. is a village bus company operating in Gangdong-gu and is a family-friendly company that continues to participate in policies and eco-friendly operations conducted by the district, Gangdong Gu.

Meanwhile, since its first partnership in 2010, the district has formed partnerships with a total of 278 families plus in a total of 81 companies (organizations) and has been sponsoring 823 million won in child support.

"I sincerely feel thankful to companies and organizations for joining this WIN-WIN project," said Lee Jung-hun, head of Gangdong-gu District Office. "We will make sure that the warm sharing heart for our neighbors can be conveyed to multi-child families in difficult situations with Covid-19."
