Gangdong-gu District (District mayor Lee Jung hun) announced that it has published "Gangdong, the City of Books," which contains the current status of Gangdong-gu's libraries and library services at a glance. The library brochure "Gangdong, the City of Books" was designed to enhance residents' access to facilities by promoting all public libraries operated by relatively unknown individuals and private organizations, including public libraries operated in Gangdong-gu. The booklet introduces 11 existing public libraries and 45 small libraries, and also tells the story of smart libraries and book cafe libraries, which are being expanded and created with district projects. The booklet, which is designed to be easy to see based on space photos, allows residents to enjoy the charm of different libraries, and aims to enhance the interest and favorability of residents with photos and brief explanations.
