Subject Gangdong-gu holds the 2022 Smart Career & College Fair

Gangdong-gu (Head of District Lee Jung-hun) will hold the ‘2022 Gangdong Smart Career & College Fair’ for two weeks from June 7 to 19.

Although the situation is relatively stable compared to last year when Covid-19 occurred, there is still a high possibility of changes in the academic schedule this year, and various and vast information on the college entrance has made it difficult for test takers to access accurate paths to career and college.

In response, Gangdong-gu prepared the ‘2022 Smart Career & College Fair’ to provide practical and reliable information on college entrance to test takers and parents.

Gangdong-gu, which opened the 3D virtual remote system 'Gangdong e-Studio' for the first time in Korea, will use the real-time remote video system to give online college entrance briefing session and to do customized video 1:1 counseling for career and college.

The fair will run for two weeks from June 7 and all courses will be conducted online. In addition to Gangdong e-Studio, the district plans to make an additional mobile studio and will operate two studios in total.

Although consultation period was shortened to two weeks, which was shorter than last year, number of consultations and participating organizations are increased thanks to two studios.

Lee Jung-hun, head of Gangdong-gu District Office, said, "The ‘Smart Career & College Fair’ is scheduled in time for the mock test in June. We hope that this will help test takers and parents ease their concerns about entrance exams and set strategies and goals for college entrance exams."
