Persons eligible for dissemination are persons with disabilities residing in Gangdong-gu and persons of national merit who have been diagnosed with a different grade. The government supports 80 to 90 percent of the cost of auxiliary equipment products, and individuals only have to pay 10 to 20 percent.

There are 116 types of supplies: 60 types of Screen reading software (SW), Reading magnification, Braille information terminal, etc for the visually-handicapped; 24 types of special keyboards, special mice, touch monitors, etc for the cerebrally-handicapped; 32 types of video phones, voice amplifiers, and language training software (SW) for the auditory/linguistically-handicapped.

Applications can be filed online from May 1 to June 18, with required documents such as applications, or by visiting the residential community center and the district office's welfare department for the disabled. The application form may be downloaded from the website of information and communication assistive devices or provided by the Dong community service center and the Gu office.

After applying, it will announce the target of supply on July 16th through the Seoul Metropolitan Government's website after document evaluation, in-depth consultation, and expert review, including the type of disability, suitability with the applied product, and confirmation of beneficiary history.
