Gangdong-gu District Office said it will provide 500,000 won in disaster support funds to instructors at self-governing centers in the region who are suffering from economic difficulties due to the prolonged Covid-19. The subsidy is a support plan prepared by the district to stabilize the lives of self-governing center instructors whose income has decreased as the self-governing center is closed or the operation of face-to-face programs has been reduced due to Corona 19. The applicants have been conducting regular lectures at the self-governing center for more than three months since November 2019, but are currently closed due to the closure and reduction of the self-governing center due to the corona situation. The disaster support fund shall be received by the 19th of this month, and required documents such as applications, personal information provision agreements, resident registration drafts, and bank accounts can be received by visiting the competent self-governing center and Gangdong-gu District Office (25th and 4th floors). The district will select those eligible for payment after confirming their eligibility for support and whether they have received duplicate applications and will pay disaster support funds in May. However, even if two or more lectures are conducted, only 500,000 won per person will be provided.
