Subject Korean Learning Program for Multicultural Families

Gangdong-gu started a new program for multicultural families of Gangdong-gu called the " Hangeul Ddego Hakgyo Gaja", meaning being prepared for school by learning Korean. The program is varied and specified for each child of the multicultural family. It is specifically for the child whose age is 7 to 8, teaching children of multicultural families the Korean language. The lectures are planned to be held online.

Furthermore, there would be other programs such as the program for the parents of how to be prepared for Korean schools besides the Korean language tutoring program for the children. Other programs would be there such as the online culture program for both the children and the parents, online Korean word battle and other various programs hoping the children would easily learn the Korean language without difficulties.

Also note that this year differing from the previous years, there would be additional programs for the child carers from foreign countries so that children under their care would have better chances of learning Korean at home. The mayor of Gangdong-gu sincerely hopes that the families of multi culture would adjust well to the Korean school without difficulties by learning Korean easily through this new program of Gangdong-gu.

The register would be held online on the Gangdong-gu Health and Multicultural Service homepage website, and 12 children of age 7 and 8 children of age 8 would be accepted. The registration date would be held from May 3rd to May 14th for 2 weeks.
