Gangdong-gu District (District mayor Lee Jung hun) opened Amsa branch No. 5 of representative care infrastructure facility in Gangdong, on April 22. The district operates “Children and Mom Gangdong” to spread the culture of raising their child with respect to infants' right to play. “Children and Mom Gangdong” is divided into ‘toy library’ , an open playground where parents can play with, and a playground for infant development. It also provides customized services for each store. The No. 5 Amsa branch is located in Amsa 3-dong (Godeok-ro 27-gil 7, Geumjeong Woori Apartment No. 103), with a dedicated area of 128.3㎡, and operates a toy library that rents toys, books and childcare products. Following the No. 2 Cheonho and No. 3 Gangil branch Toy Library, the Toy Library operated by No. 5 Amsa branch provides an environment for play in which infants and children can choose toys with their parents. Operation is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday to Saturday (closed on Sunday, Monday and legal holidays), and operation will be temporarily suspended from 12:30 p.m. to 13:30 p.m. for lunch, disinfection and maintenance time. The “Children and Mom Gangdong” Toy Library is operated on a membership basis, and all branches of the toy library operated in Children's and Mom's Gangdong must be used (2 toys and 3 books by branch) after membership. The annual fee is 20,000 won. The “Children and Mom Gangdong” Toy Library is operating as an online reservation system to secure the health and safety of users as Corona 19 is prolonged, and the Amsa branch No.5 will begin operation on May 4 (Tuesday). Online reservations can be made from 10 a.m. on May 4 (Tuesday) in the website reservation system, which was rebuilt in consideration of user convenience. Lee Jung hun, head of Gangdong-gu District Office, said, "The district is trying to open additional Gildong branch No.6 and Amsa market No. 8 this year, and will expand to Dunchon/Seongnae area No.9 and Gang-il district No.10 by 2022 to provide optimal access and convenience for infants and toddlers." |
