Subject Gangdong-gu trains professionals in AI data labeling

Recruitment of students from April 5th to 19th for data construction training for artificial intelligence learning...Fostering the Artificial Intelligence Data Industry Leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Job Creation

Gangdong-gu District (District mayor Lee Jung hun) will operate an artificial intelligence data labeling curriculum to foster human resources in the artificial intelligence (AI) field in the digital new deal era.

Data labeling, which is the basis for applying artificial intelligence technology, refers to data preprocessing work that builds data for learning so that computers can learn by themselves by labeling or annotating text, voice, and image data.

Along with AIMMO, a data platform company, the district conducts data labeling training for Gangdong-gu residents four times a year.

Education and practice are possible only with computers connected to the Internet, and trainees can participate in actual data labeling projects after completion. Depending on their proficiency, some income generation can also be expected.

The first training application, which will be held on April 26, can be applied through the Gangdong-gu Office website from April 5 to 19.

The number of applicants is about 30 and the tuition fee is free.

Lee Jung hun, District Mayor of Gangdong-gu Office, said, "Data labeling is a digital job that anyone can work from home with simple education." It is expected to contribute to the creation of jobs for residents, including young people who need short-term side jobs, elderly people who are familiar with computers, and women with career breaks."
