Subject Gangdong-gu, power subsidies, suspect, hydrogen vehicles itself.

Gangdong-gu mayor Lee Jung hun said he will accelerate the expansion of green mobility as part of the "Gangdong-type Green New Deal" project to increase response to the climate crisis and preemptively respond to energy independent cities.

The district plans to contribute 200 million won of its own budget in addition to subsidies for state and municipal expenses when purchasing electric and hydrogen cars, and to contribute to the popularization of eco-friendly cars among Seoul's autonomous districts.

A total of 175 cars, including subsidies for state and municipal subsidies, can be provided up to 13 million won for electric cars and 35.5 million won for hydrogen cars, with 150 won for each electric car and 2 million won for each hydrogen car.

The target models are 43 types of 12 electric cars, 27 types of 12 electric cargo trucks, and 1 type of hydrogen car, which can be found at the Ministry of Environment's low pollution car integration website. However, an official of the district explained that electric cars will provide subsidies only for medium and low-priced vehicles with less than 60 million won, so that the supply of eco-friendly cars can be activated while easing the burden on buyers.

Eligibility for application is for residents aged 18 or older who are addressed in Gangdong-gu from 180 days before the date of application for purchase support, and for priority are the disabled, the disabled and independent merit, and multi-child households (three children under 18).

Applications can be received by visiting the green energy department of the district office from the 24th, and will be supported on a first-come, first-served basis within this year's budget.

Gangdong-gu District Mayor said, "Gangdong-gu will play a leading role in achieving 2050 carbon neutral goals, including the Seoul Metropolitan Government's ban on new registration of internal combustion engine vehicles in 2035 by expanding the supply of eco-friendly cars."
