Subject subway line 5 Gang-il station opening

Gangil Station on Seoul Subway Line 5 will be open from the 27th.
Accordingly, the entire section of the Hanam Line, which extends Subway Line 5, will be fully opened. Gangdong-gu (Gu Mayor Lee Jung hun) in Seoul announced on the 25th that the opening of Gangil Station would improve access to public transportation for residents around Gangil-dong and Godeok Gangil District 3, where subway access was inconvenient.

The first bus from Gangil Station is 5:40 am on weekdays (towards the city center). The dispatch interval is 7-14 minutes (average 10 minutes) based on the rush hour. Gangdong-gu reported that if you take Line 5 from Gangil Station, you can get to Gangdong Station in 11 minutes and Cheonho Station in 13 minutes, and if you transfer from Cheonho Station to Line 8, you can access Jamsil Station in 20 minutes.
The district announced that an additional bus stop was added near the exit of Gangil Station to facilitate transfers for residents using Gangil Station, and that it is actively discussing with the Seoul city to establish a bus route through Godeok Gangil District 3, Gangil District, and Gangil Station. Extension of Subway Line 5 Hanam Line is a total of 7.7km route connecting five additional stations from Gangil Station, Hanam-Simisa, Hanam Pungsan, Hanam City Hall and Hanam Geomdansan Station starting from Sangil-dong Station, the existing line 5.
Lee said, "We will do our best to expedite the construction of subway and metropolitan railway projects such as the direct resolution of Line 5, the fourth stage of Line 9, the additional extension of the fourth line of Line 9, and the GTX-D Gangdong-gu project."
On the other hand, Gangdong-gu plans to propose a direct transfer of the Seoul Subway Line 9 to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), which will be directly related to the construction of the Seoul Subway Line 9 (Godeok-Gangil, Gangil-dong, and 1.25km).
