Gandgong-gu (Mayor Lee Jung-hun) announced that they will be recruiting participants for the ‘shared farm’ in the Gangil garden type farm. This will take place for two days, from March 29th to the 30th. The Gangil garden type farm, located in 33-3 of Gangil-dong, which stands out for its beautiful landscape that is well harmonized with the water landscape around Han River, ended its sale for 2021 with a competition rate of 35 to 1. With a scale of 80 square meters per account, this garden-type farm is equipped with a private hut and outdoor tables, which is why it is gaining more and more popularity day by day as a space for leisure and healing for families living in the neighborhood of Gangdong-gu. Following this trend, Gangdong-gu will create 5 new accounts in order to allow more residents to use them. Three of the newly created Gangil garden-type farm accounts will be sold to three families that are specially designated by the district, and the other two will be operated as a one-day experience through the reservation. Lee Jung-hun, head of Gangdong-gu, said, "In such a closed society today, I hope that the community culture can be revitalized by making new neighbors and that the culture of sharing will spread as a result of the introduction to this garden sharing system which many residents will be able to use.", showing great expectations from the shared farm.
