Subject Month of Family, May...Gangdong opening a festival

Seoul Gangdong(Head Lee Hae sik) has stated that there will be diverse festivals for families to enjoy in Amsa and Ilja mountain.
In May 5th, there will be a '2018 Kids Experience Event'in Amsa and a 'Gangdong Kids Festival' at Gangdong Kids center and in the Design road in front of the Gangdong gu office. In May 12th, there will be a 'everyone happy festival' which will be conducted by chlidren themselves. From May 17th to May 20th there will be a 'Seoul City Farm Show' in Ilja park and from 18th to 19th there will be the 12th star fesitval in Herb Park,
The Gangdong Kids festival is celebrating Gangdong being the 10th year to be selected as a healthy city, so they are providing 23 indoor programs for youngs and families to enjoy with the theme 'Nature', 'Health', and 'Saftey' Magic shows, B-boy shows and also family cooking and musical programs are provided as well. In Amsa there are making earthenwares, houses and lots of different programs for experiencing the Sunsa era and they are all at a good price. There is also a place where kids can become an anthropologist. The fee is free and online information is provided in sunsa.gangdong.go.kr.
The Happy fesitval goes with the theme 'Today is myway' and has programs such as writing, drawing, and presentations. For more information ask 02-3425-5132
CIty farmers festival is open in Ilja park during May 17th to May 20th. It is held both by Gangdong and Seoul with the theme of 'City farming and growing labor' It shows diverse activities and foods with new coming jobs as well. For more information contact 02-3425-6547.
From May 18th to May 19th there is a Star Fesitval where you can start a journey to the stars in Herb Park. Using Herb Oil you can make herb candles and bug sprays. There are a lot of activites related to stars as well.
