The chronic disease, now village clinic manage it After treatment in village clinic, making a connection to health center Gandon Gu is going to start ‘the local community primary care service’ with Gandong Gu medical association for systematic health management of Gandong Gu residents. ‘The local community primary care service’ is in effect by Ministry of Health and Welfare to manage chronic disease such as high blood pressure and diabetes, last 11 month, Gandong Gu Ministry of Health and Welfare was nominated for demonstration Community health Center. This service is helping doctors to check the residents’ health status and danger factor through treatment and basic checkup from primary care institutions and then they make a connection to Community health Center on the basis of checkup results. In Gandong Gu Community health care center and healthy 100 years old counseling center, the experts(nurse, dietitian, fitness expert, etc) offer systematic counseling and education such as a diet and nutrition. Through this service, it is expected to be able to getting health care of chronic patients in adjacent village clinic and they will be able to have healthier lives ,courtesy of preventing and managing the chronic diseases with healthy living practice education and counseling of Community health Center and the service can ease the unnecessary medical expenses burden which is going to be caused if the disease become more severe without this primary care service. Besides, Gandong-Gu Community health Center is running ‘The citizens Health point service’ with making connection to civilian medical institutions. |
