“Tell Your wish!” - Santa Expedition of Gangdong-gu was launched

-Gangdong-gu, Conclude an agreement with ChildFund Korea and Local children's center.

Gangdong-gu(Ward office manager :Lee haesik) hold ‘Hope-tree&Santa Expedition inauguration ceremony’ that grant a children’s wish at 15th with Greenumbrella ChildFund Korea in South Seoul and Local children’s center.

Gangdong-gu made a contract for children’s healthy growth at last November with ChildFund Korea in South Seoul(the director of the headquarters :Choi Cheolwoo). In this contract, Gangdong-gu promised Establishment of a private partnership and effective linkage of children for Promotion of children's welfare, and ChildFund Korea promised to excavate children from Low-income Families and afford comprehensive Welfare Service. This ‘Hope-tree&Santa Expedition’ will made children’s wish come true and give some warm present to local children from low-income families such as vitamin, bluetooth speaker, electric hand stove, muffler, hat etc. To do like this, Gangdong-gu will hold Hope-tree&Santa Expedition inauguration ceremony at disabled job cafe, ‘I got everything’, which is located at the second government office of Gangdong-gu, at 15th. Besides, Gangdong-gu had hold ‘Hope-Tree Festival’ with Association at last 22th November, and given scholarship, present and appreciation plaque by 10,000,000won to local children and residents. Lee Haesik, the Ward office manager of Gangdong-gu, said that he is happy to cooperate with Greenumbrella ChildFund Korea and Association of Local children’s Center. And he also said that he will do his best to make much happier Gangdong as a Child-friendly city which is authorized by Unicef, by strengthening of cooperation between private organizations and national agencies.
