Do you know that there is a drone park in Seoul Han River? Drone Park in Cheonho-dong is the only place in Seoul where you can fly a drone without permission. from others. On a good sunny day, buy some snacks and a warm coffee and head to have a picnic in Drone Park. Drone Park is an area for flying drones which are belonging to the Han River Park. People can freely fly drones under 12kg without prior approval.

Drone Park is largely divided into fixed wing drone flying zone, drone racing zone, and rotor wing drone flying zone. Drones are classified according to their models and uses. First, the Drones Racing Zone is a place where small, fast racing drones can fly. Second, in the rotor wing drone flying zone, you can learn hovering and spinning techniques. People put a cloth in the middle of the lawn to prevent propeller of drones from getting caught in the weeds and getting damaged when taking off. In the innermost of the drones park, there is a fixed-wing drone flying zone with a small runway. The fixed-wing drone zone was called Gwangnaru Airfield before the drones are generalized and have been loved by a number of people.
There are plenty of facilities for fun such as a bicycle park, a children's playground, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a soccer field, a basketball court, and an inline skating rink near Drone Park. To make congestion as low as possible and to create a safe environment, Drone Park operates as a reservation system. If you use public transportation, you can use subway lines 5 and 8, Cheonho Station and Line 8, Amsa Station.
