Subject Holding an alliance ceremony of the “WIN-WIN Multi-child Family Project” with local communities

Gangdong-gu(Mayor Lee Hae Sik) held a ceremony for the 16th anniversary of the WIN-WIN project of a “Multi-child Family home-company(group)project” on the 5th floor grand hall of Gangdong on December 20th. In this ceremony, 38 families, including four families with their five children, and 21 supporters participated.
“Multi-child Family WIN-WIN project” is a project in which a corporation in a bound and a multi-child family make an alliance and support child maintenance. This partnership is established on a yearly basis and companies (organizations) provide 100,000 won monthly support to family members.
Since the first alliance with the participation of 11 companies (organizations) in 2010, a total of 81 corporations (organizations) and 227 families have formed alliances with the sixteenth alliance, supporting 660 million won in child support.
In this ceremony, Engineering Deduction Co., Ltd., Yeonglim Transportation Co., Ltd., Yuchang Changwon Co., Ltd. Seoul Myeon, Gangdong Nonghyup, the high-silver and obstetrics and gynecology representatives, which have participated in the project conveyed thanks and appreciation to the representative.
One mother who has participated in the alliance expressed gratitude for the support of society, saying “It was a great power that someone would support our family rather than simply receiving child maintenance.” A representative of a sponsoring company said, “I feel rewarded adding a little power to make the coming future brighter” and declared that he will continue to pay attention to social contribution for overcoming low fertility.
On November 30th 2016, the local community voluntarily joined forces to strengthen the conditions for raising children, and was awarded the prime ministerial prize at the “Ministry of Public Administration and Security 2017. A competitive Exhibition of excellent Measures to Overcome Low Fertility in Local Governments”(80 million won).
Lee Hae Sik said, “This is a meaningful event for the local community to think and gather together to overcome the problem of low fertility. We will do our best so that WIN-WIN project of Multi-child Family will become the representative brand of Gangdong in deed as well as in name.”
