Subject Gangdong-Gu's ministration office is renovated

The Kangdong ministration office was renovated into an eco-friendly and energy-saving building.
The café was created through the participation budget of Kangdong-gu and the support of the Korea Disabled People Development Institute.
Especially, the place where the cafe is located was used as a detention center in the old Kangdong Police Station. It was remodeled into a gallery where eco-friendly local food automated shops, cafes and works of residents are displayed. It was transformed into a chapter.
The café 'I got everything', which was opened in the local community space, will provide a relaxing space for residents who are looking for offices with sophisticated interiors, reasonable prices and high quality coffee.
The café is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and four handicapped baristas who have completed the barista specialist course, the safety management and service practical course at the vocational school for the handicapped in Kangdong area will invite you to enjoy delicious coffee.
The handicapped baristas will operate the cafe directly and fully utilize the skills they have learned, communicate directly with the residents and have a sense of belonging as a member of the local community.
Beside the café, there is also a space for exhibiting and selling products for severely handicapped people produced by 12 vocational rehabilitation facilities operated by Gangdong-gu. to improve the awareness of people with disabilities.
Gangdong-gu said, "I think that a café where disabled people work as a barista is located in the Gangdong-gu office building, which will greatly improve the awareness of people with disabilities. We will continue to pay attention and efforts to create jobs for people with disabilities. "
