Subject Hanyoung Sports event


Recently, from 10/19 to 10/20, Hanyoung Foreign Language High School held a sports event. The sports event was officially referred to as 'Hanyoung Sports competition.‘ It was held in yeo jung-ang adolescent practice center, which was the identical place where Hanyoung students had their OT last year, as first graders.

There were numerous kinds of sports that were competed. Students each took a role in one of these kinds such as soccer, volleyball, badminton and etc. Not only does each student compete with another, but also these games are competed against departments. For instance, the English Department won in volleyball, and the Chinese Department won in running, and the German & French Department won in soccer, and much more.


The sports event was a great opportunity for students of each department to build teamwork and cooperate with each other in order to achieve a goal. Students were able to recognize and acknowledge themselves to be students of Hanyoung once more and be proud of that fact. I am sure that through this experience, students have learned to care for others sincerely. It is true that many students were extremely eager to win in some of the games.


Indeed, it is undeniable that students of each department had the chance to become even more intimate, that is not all about the sports event. Students were able to recognize and acknowledge themselves to be students of HYFL once more and be proud of that fact.


Last but not least, there was a program called Yeo-sul-jae, where students with a variety of talents participated to show what they've got. The performances ranged from rapping to creative dance. It was such a fantastic event to check out what kind of students we were. and was once again amazed at the prolific students.


This years's HYFL sports event was such a great experience to actually play sports with fellow students, build teamwork and perseverance, and also see the talents of Hanyoung students. Well done and congratulations to all of the students of Hanyoung !
