Subject Gangdong-gu’s ‘Education Week’, from November 6th to 11th.

Gangdong-gu’s ‘Education Week’, from November 6th to 11th and Cho Hee Yeon, the Superintendent of Education of Seoul, has given a speech on November 6th.

Gangdong-gu, Seoul, has designated November 6th to 11th as Gangdong Education Week and the event ‘2017. Future Education in Gangdong’ is going to be held in Gangdong Art Center, Lifelong Learning Center and Self Organized Study Support Center.

November 6th, the first day of the Education Week, ‘Gangdong Education Week Opening Ceremony’ was held in the Grand Theater of Gangdong Art Center. Local residents including students and their parents attended to share the educational outcome of Gangdong- gu and to honor and award a commendation to remarkable educator and man of merit.

Also, the Celebrity is invited to give a Special Lecture. Cho Hee Yeon, the Superintendent of Education of Seoul, gave a lecture on the subject of ‘Valiant Progress of Korea to become an Educationally Advanced Country’. Cho Seung Yeon, a writer, who appeared in ‘어쩌다 어른’ of TvN and ‘비정상회담’ of JTBC, delivered a lecture on ‘Philosophy about Learning and My Special Learning Skills’.

Besides, a variety of programs such as ‘Gangdong Singer’ to pick out who is the best singer in Gangdong, ‘Satisfying Concert for Youth’, ‘1․3 generation Harmonizing 360° Talk Concert’, ‘Sensory Trip in Fall’, ‘Gangdong Career and Job Exhibition’, ‘School Club Presentation’, ‘High school Admission Lecture’ and ‘The Final Match of Middle School Students’ Sports Leagues’ are scheduled to be held.

Lee Hae Sik, the Head Officer of Gangdong- gu, said “This project will be both the place of educational festival with residents altogether enjoying various programs and a meaningful event to seek the right direction to make Gangdong- gu a Happy Educational City”.
