Subject HYFL's sports competition

Different from other schools, HYFL’s athletics competition is held for 2 days. For these two days, students work hard with fever. They practice and practice for their own area. This year in Hanyoung, there were 8 areas, volleyball, ultimate, cheerleading, soccer, badminton, dodge ball, kicking ball and relay race. Chinese and English departments, which are composed of 3 classes, they usually participate for 0~1 areas. However the other departments, German, Japanese, French, Spanish departments, which are composed of only class, even participate in 3 areas. After the mid-term exam, for 3 days they did their best for victory. Although the departments composed of 3 classes usually wins lots of areas, all the student really work hard for them. Not only sports, but also 예술제, which is held in night is one of the interests of students too. For this event, students had audition and practiced for days.. There were a lot of talented students with singing, rapping, dancing and so on. Students were enthusiastic about this event. The very reason that it is so meaningful is not only the process of game but also in the process of getting ready for the game, they can have chance to check their passion, sense of belonging and so on. It would be so special to 2nd graders because it became the last event before being 3th graders, which is hard- working for 수능. Also it would be a special event for 1st graders because it was their first athletics competition and they will fell responsibility for next year’s of it.
