Subject The 22nd Gangdong Prehistory Cultural Festival ends

The 22nd Gangdong Prehistory Cultural Festival was held successfully in the Amasadong ruins of Seoul last weekend, where a clear autumn sky prevailed.
In order to wish for the registration of UNESCO World Heritage Site and the peace of the residents, the ceremony of pitting wish lantern was the prelude to the beginning of the three-day festival
Particularly on this day, Ambassadors to Korea from eleven countries including Spain and Mongolia participated in the ceremony for sharing the world value of the Amasadong ruins in Seoul.
At the opening ceremony, 'Kuhn' of idol singer-up tension appeared as a modern man 'Shin Seokgi' who solely pursues money and honor, leading a creative musical. Lee Hyuk Band, Rumble Fish, and Idol Group Up Tension gave a passionate performance for celebration.
On the next day, the 'Spacing out Competition' was held to take a rest from the busy daily life and to have the aesthetics of the rest. Participants of various ages and occupations contributed to the fresh enjoyment.

Mammoths and Neolithic men who filled the road marched with their individuality. It is an exploration of primitive ages street parade which is the highlight of the Kangdong Prehistoric Cultural Festival.
The brilliant dance scene and the lively music created a cohesive celebraton that harmonizes both the marchers and the spectators.
In the continuing primitive family dancing party, the outdoor stage of the autumn night was unfolded with DJ KOO’s DJing.
On the last day, there was a concert about the importance of food and gratitude, ‘prehistoric food performance’, which was for youth clubs to show the talent.
It is time to finish the prehistoric culture festival for 3 days. The drawing show which is hard to keep an eye for a while was proceeded before the closing ceremony. The sweet and warm tone of singer Hong Kyung Min, Lee Si An, Bohemian and Yoon Do Hyun beautifully colored the autumn night festival. The fireworks displayed with the declaration of closing covered the sky more than ever.
The Gangdong Primitive Culture Festival, which won the Pinnacle Awards 4 times in a row, also provided a variety of programs that allowed children to experience the Neolithic culture through hands-on experiences, such as prehistoric fishinf and comb pattern pottery making.
In addition to this, it provided a wealth of opportunities to enjoy city farming, eco-mileage booths and horseback riding, as well as the sculptures associated with the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, particularly popular with family visitors. Seoul Amsadong ruins is a Neolithic site which has been attracting attention worldwide, due to the excavation of a trail of exchange in primitive ages, jade-made ornaments and obsidian rocks. We also carried out special exhibitions on the remains of the Amasadong ruins in the precincts, spurring the registration of World Cultural Heritage.
It was an unusual festival where you can experience the Neolithic culture in the city and feel the breath of the Neolithic people. The 22nd Kangdong Prehistoric Cultural Festival will pledge the excitement of the next festival with the regret of closing ceremony.
