Gangdong-gu has been conducting a canine behavior correction program called 'Seodang Dog' starting this year. It is a program designed to solve increasing conflicts between neighbors caused by noisy dogs. 'Seodang Dog' is short for "Your Inapt Dog." A total of 30 students per class started their first lecture on April 1st. By the end of the year, a total of four lectures will be operated, fueled by the enthusiasm from local residents. Gangdong-gu, which has been the leader of 'animal welfare,' will be running a training course on behavioral correction for dogs, starting next month. The plan is to train residents to become experts in the short-term education program. The applicants were recruited until 24th of October. An official from the city said, "As the number of pets increased, conflicts among neighbors have also increased due to the lack of pet-tiquettes (pet etiquettes), such as a noisy dog. Therefore, to reduce such conflicts, we need to teach appropriate behaviors to the pets. However, the lack of specialized training centers make it difficult to get educational opportunities. " The training course is scheduled for 6 months in total, and will be held three times a week until April next year. After two months of basic courses, students will be able to improve their skills by deepening their curriculum. Qualified entrants who have completed the training can get the opportunity to become assistant instructors at the 'Seodang Dog Programs and Educational Institutions' run by Gangdong-gu. It is also linked to practical employment. The total number of recruits is 20. Applicants who are 18 years old or older can apply for either employment or start-up business. Those who are currently employedare excluded. Gangdong-gu's alderman said, "The right relationship with pets is linked to a happy life.
