Subject Disaster prevention training at Gandong-gu

Gangdong-gu will carry out ‘2017 emergency preparedness training’ for five days from October 30 to November 3. Training is performed simultaneously throughout the nation during this period to enhance initial response capability through on-site intensive training and strengthen the coordination of the private and public joint system. Gangdong-gu carried fire evacuation training for children from the concert hall at Howeon Art Hall at October 30, Gangdong-Songpa gu resource movement training on October 31, earthquake and forest fire prevention training at gu-office situation room and earthquake, forest fire complex disaster response training at Iljasan(일자산) on November 1, preparation for heavy snow SNS training and welfare facilities for disable people fire evacuation training at Korea Welfare Center for the Blind on November 2, and fire evacuation training&campaign at Amsa general market and Safety culture practices movement at 18 Dong community center on November 3.
Especially the training which was carried on November 1, carries field training supposing size 6.5 earthquake caused gas piping explosion leading to forest fire at the whole area of Iljasan.
60 people who includes Gandong-gu disaster countermeasure head office collaboration office, Gangdong fire station, Cowon energy service, 6019 corps , carries discussion based training at the Gu office main building all source situation room.
After the discussion training, it carries earthquake and forest fire complex disaster field training at the Dunchondong Iljasan No.1 gym.
Gu officer said that “Through this Safety Korean Training program, it gave opportunity to systemically build up network between Gu-office, other infrastructure, and other private organization and enhance initial operational capability because of field based training.”
