Subject GAC, the beautiful and socially contributing art center of Gangdong.

Gangdong Art Center, which is often initialized as GAC, is one of the largest culture complex in Gangdong ward. It is located in Sang-il area. Since founded in 2011, it has been having more than 900 some concerts, and accomodating more than 630 thousand audiences. It was launched for the purpose of providing various culture · art programs, locally contacted programs, and creative art space. Also, one of its goals is reinforcing social contribution business.
GAC impressionally carries out its role as public theatre by providing reasonable ticket price, by being efficient infrastructure area, and by operating citizen art academy. Also, it provides free outdoor concert and the lawn square twice a year, at spring and autumn.
Another feature that makes GAC popular and beloved is that GAC was designed to be eco friendly. The center itself is placed in the Myeong-Il Green Park, and large lawn square is located at the center of the complex.
The Gandong Art Center is two-story building with basement floor. Basement floor is used for parking area. Grand floor and second floor are placing main theatre (Han-Gang), small theatre (Dream), art gallery, multi-purpose studio, and facilities like restaurant and cafeteria for citizens' convenience. It is well known for its unique and modern architecture, especially the beautiful interior structures.
The latest and well responded performances were 'National Geographic photo exhibition', and 'Gangdong Artist Festival'. Moreover, the play 'The Twelfth Night', 'Dwarf Who Loved Snow White', and the musical 'Greece' are examples of the most well done performances which were performed at GAC and received the great acclaim from public. The Gangdong Art Center is expecting to offer the play 'Liar II', project performance 'Movies, Music and Karos', the musical 'Cat Zorba', and so on until the year-end of 2017 and early 2018.
