Subject Gangdong-gu, Operate eco-friendly energy tours for Elementary School students

- From 12th for five times … visiting Godeokcheon Energy Maru

Seoul Mayor Lee Hae-sik of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education said Wednesday, " We will run an eco-friendly eco - friendly energy course for a total of five times. " More than 500 people have participated since 2015, which has been operated since 2015 to enhance understanding of new and renewable energy sources.

There are four courses in this tour. It is newly converted energy facilities, a hydro-electromotor power plant, a hydrogen fuel cell generating power plant, an LCD plant, the largest solar power plant in the capital area, and an autonomous energy conservation village.

In the first course, " Godeokcheon Energy Maru, " a new source of renewable energy education, can learn the principles of renewable energy, such as solar, wind, bio, water, and energy, and experiences energy problems with energy sources.

The second course is ' Godeok Green Energy Generating Plant, ' a 20-by-size hydrogen fuel cell plant. Hydrogen fuel cells are environmentally-friendly energy sources that produce electricity and produce electricity without generating electricity, producing electricity and generating electricity from 40,000 homes and 9,000 homes. Normally, a tour is permitted through the high voltage power plant or the tour, which is restricted to ordinary citizens.

The third course, " Amsa Solar Power Plant " is the largest solar power plant constructed in the capital area, constructed using Amsa Arrison Water Center. A 70,000-pyong square is equivalent to a 10,000-pyong football field, producing electricity available for 1,850 homes per day. Below the solar module, there is a good example of the use of a large number of public facilities, making it multi-purpose enough to utilize a wide range of public spaces.

The final fourth course is " Self-Supporting Village, " which is currently established as an independent village in Independence Village in August 2012. The village holds 45 percent of its energy self-sufficiency rate in dense residential areas. One can learn about energy-saving measures such as saving energy use by residents in their own homes, recording their electricity usage.

The courses will last five times from the 12th to the 26th. More detailed information can be obtained from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Public Administration (KSF04-345 - 5945) and from (02-3425-5945).
