The 22th Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival would be held from October 13th to October 15th. This festival is an Edu-tainement festival in which we can both learn about the prehistoric life and enjoy it. Because it is a festival which people make by themselves, there are many programs ready for tourists to enjoy. Especially the main program of the festival, the 'primitive age adventure street parade', which 1500 people participate, is a program that made the region into a 'brand' and contributed in making the sustainable successful festival. Not only is this festival known as one of the best festivals in Seoul but it also won the Pinnacle award for 3 years in a row. Also, the festival won the gold award in five fields including the publicizing and brochure field in 2014, three fields including the sponsor gift field in 2015, and three fields inclulding the best promotion brochure field in 2016. This festival now became a festival that represents the region in which more than 40 million people visit the Seoul Amsadong remains and enjoy. In addition, the Seoul Amsadong remains is now ready to be recorded in the UNESCO world heritage, trying to go out to the world. Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival understands the prehistoric life's communal value in various ways such as education, experience, and art peformences. By this festival, with the hope of being a beautiful city forever, Gangdonggu is hoping to make the festival into an international festival by recording the Seoul Amsadong remains. |
