Gang-gong gu , opening up businesses for the four rights of children
(the rights to survive, the rights to be protected, the right to develop, the rights to participate)

Our gu is opening up businesses for the rights of every child under 18.‘Human Rights Ombuzban’ helps solving problems like bullying and child abuse.
To help with supporting and counseling about children’s human rights, our gu has appointed lawyer he-son Lee as a human rights ombuzban.
Human rights ombuzban helps in solving problems like bullying, child abuse, conflicts with schools, and sexual harassment. Not only this, but they also do advisory activity on groups that monitors violation of another’s rights, and supports its legislation.
Celebrity mi-yon Gan, as a honorary ambassador of gang-dong gu child rights
On September 1st, ex-girl group member mi-yon Gan was appointed as honorary ambassador of gang-dong gu. She is planning to participate in various events including the ‘gang-dong gu teenager policy meeting’ and she will also be at the front line of promoting.
The recruitment of ‘the second teen assembly’ candidate till September 14th.
Our gu, to listen and to apply what our juveniles’ thoughts and saying, is promoting ‘the second gang-dong gu teen assembly, and is recruiting the candidates and the voting assembly until September 14th.

- Anyone that is nine to eighteen years of age, who is a resident of our gang-gong gu or is going to a school in our gu can apply for this. download a application form in the gang-dong gu homepage and send the application by email (noppy@gd.go.kr) or by mail (gang-dong gu, songre gong 25, the department of the elder and teen of gang-dong gu office) until September 14th 6 p.m..

- The voting procedure will take place on October 20th, and the our adolescent themselves will vote. There will be 35 candidate selected finally, and the voting assembly will be 25 people. 10 of them will be assembled with various teenagers.
The nominated member will be given the certificate and badge, and their activities we be recorded in their student record. They will, for a year, receive education regarding legislation and debate, and will do lots of various activities like making policies.
