Gangdong-gu has recently signed a women-friendly city business agreement with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. By 2021, we plan to promote 73 women-friendly core businesses in five areas in various ways! The five areas are: building a foundation for promoting gender equality policies; expanding women's economic and social participation; promoting community safety; building a family-friendly environment; and strengthening women's community activities. First of all, this year, we will expand the 'Women's Safety Village' to the whole area! There are 18 women's safety villages that have been built for the three castles of Gangnae-dong, Cheonho-dong, and Amsa-dong, which have high distribution patterns of multi-family houses and multi-family houses. Safety patrol of the Mami patrol is carried out in the women safe village, Crime Prevention Environmental Design (CPTED) is applied to reduce the crime rate, such as the creation of murals and the application of fluorescent materials to prevent theft.
