In gangdong-gu godeok lake, where people can enjoy relaxed walking, well-made(good quality) tree-lined street was made and it has received fervent response to residents. Godeok lake, which is a local stream and the first branch of Hangang river, goes through Hanam-si, Sangil-dong, Gangil-dong, Godeok-dong. In here, there are atrails, bike lanes, and also various plants are planted, So it is used as residents’ place for relaxation. Business to make the tree-lined street which was started in last January and was finished this month was not only to offer cool shade to residents who are visiting, but also to make beautiful river scene. In tree-lined street of Godeok lake’s bridge from sangil2 bridge to gangmyeong bridge’s bank’s upper part’s section of 700m, the tree-lined street was made, and people planted 137 trees like flowering cherry, retusa fringetree, and etc. And also 13,460 shrub which hasbeautiful flowers like an azalea, and Kerria. Gu is expecting to make the whole area of godeok lake as a green place where residents want to stay and walk through making tree-lined streets. Staff of a gu said, “We want tree-lined streets of godeok lake to become healing place inside city where people can visit frequently. We will keep making green areas and places for residents to rest like making some tree-lined streets inside city, and etc. |
