Autumn is coming. The days are getting cooler; the best time we can join a festival. We want to introduce a weekend festival that is just for you and your family. We promise you’d like it! In September 9th, the 5th Genae Town Festival will be held in Sangil Park. Sangil-dong was widely known for its river stream that is home for a great number of freshwater crabs. That’s why Sangil-dong is called ‘Genae Town,’ which means ‘Crab Stream Town.’ If you visit the festival between 2 to 4 o’clock, you have the chance to participate in the special participating program where you can catch fresh crabs on your own. There aren’t many chances in life where you can catch a live crab from a river, right? There will be other activities, booths, and performances ready for you to join. We guarantee you it will be fun. In October 13th, the 22th Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival will be held. In September 10th, a ‘Prehistoric Culture’ marathon will be held, for the means of the festival’s success. A marathon is the best way for us to join together and harden our will to become one. The marathon course is passes through the Hangang Park, and is composed of three courses (10km, 5km and half). If you wear special, unique costumes like Superman and primitive men, you have the chance to receive the ‘Unique Costume Prize.’ The cool autumn weather is just right for some running. Join us in this special festival! |
